Welcome to ICAT 2025!

The Faculty of Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) in Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal is set to host an International Conference on “Agricultural Transformation for Sustainable Food System” from February 2-4, 2025. Agriculture and allied sectors play crucial roles in the global economy, supplying food, fuel, and essential products to populations worldwide. However, these sectors face significant challenges, including climate change, land degradation, and water scarcity, which jeopardize their sustainability and productivity. The conference will thus focus on exploring innovative and transformative strategies to address these challenges and move agriculture towards a more sustainable future. It will bring together students, researchers, academics, industry experts, and policymakers to share ideas, address challenges, exchange knowledge, suggest policy, and discover new pathways for developing a sustainable food system and a greener future.
